Server Time (!mytime ingame):
321h
How many hours can you staff on the server per day?
7h+ (if necessary)
What times can you be on?
10am-12pm
Why do you want to become Staff?:
I want to become staff to help out the community. As I am on the server for a large period of time, I have noticed that, at some points of the day, there is no staff on the server to complete sits or help out the server. This time period isn’t very large, but it is long enough that it could ruin a players darkrp experience. I would love to become staff to rule out the time period and help regrow the server.
Do you have a mic?
Yes
Why do you think you personally should become Staff?:
I believe that I should become staff, as I have previous experiences of being a successful staff member in multiple other servers. Because of this experience, I am well aware how to be a useful and productive member of a staff team.
Any Staff experience from other games?:
Yes, I was a staff member on a high-pop Gmod DarkRP Server for quite awhile (called Rival Gamers), I have owned a few Rust servers (Called 77-Servers) and I have owned my fair share of minecraft servers (Called 77-Servers). I was also a co-owner of a small Darkrp server (called RT Gaming).
In-Game Scenarios:
A player tells you that someone is making money while they have a building sign up. What do you do and why?
I would check their base, to see if they have a building sign and if they are making money via entities which do such. I would then talk to the owner of the base, if they are not in the base I would TP them over to me, and say they they are not able to create money from entities (e.g. Bitcoin, Printers, Meth…), if they have a building sign.
I would then briefly tell them that they have to remove the building sign, or remove the entities that generate income. I would then give the owner of the base a verbal warning, unless they have been warned or given a verbal warning about failbase before.
Player X hits player Y for 1 point of armor damage and player Y kills player X. Player X reports RDM, what do you do and why?
First of all, I would check the logs to see if player X struck player Y. I would then check to see if player Y killed player X. After doing so and coming to the conclusion that player X hit player Y, and then player Y kills player X. I would tell player X that player Y is in their right to kill you, as you dealt damage to player Y first.
After this, I would check the logs to see if player X had any reason to ARDM player Y. If the conclusion for this comes up that player X had no reason to ARDM player Y, I would give player X a verbal, as player X didn’t deal a lot of damage, and didn’t return fire (the damage dealt to player Y, was most likely an accident).
Player X calls player Y a (whatever horrible insult comes to mind) over voice. Player Y asks for an admin for disrespect, what do you do and why?
I say to player Y, that unless the insult was racist I can’t do anything. I then ask for player Y for evidence of the incident, if it was racist.
After reviewing the incident, I would come to a conclusion and warn player X for racism, if the comment turned out to be racist. If the insult turned out to not be racist, I would say that I couldn’t do anything about the incident.
3 players report player X for RDM but you cannot find the player in question, what do you do and why
I would check the logs to see if player X did RDM the three people. I would then check to see if player X RDMed anyone else or broke any other rules. After coming to the conclusion that player X RDMed three people and left the server, I would find their steamid then ban them for MRDM and LTAP. The ban would be 2 weeks and 3 days.
A player accidentally crossfires someone in a raid and the player that got crossfired calls an admin for RDM, what do you do and why?
I would check the logs, to make sure that the incident happened. I would then check to see if the player who "crossfired" was in a raid. After that, I would check the logs to see if the player who "crossfired" was shooting at someone else at the time. Finally, I would ask for any video evidence of the [b]incident. If there is no video evidence, I would come to the conclusion that, as the logs state that the player who "crossfired" was shooting at someone else at the time, the player who "crossfired" would get a verbal warning for ARDM.
